Bain Chroma Respect 250ml - Sulfate-Free Color Protection Shampoo for Fine to Medium Hair
Bain Chroma Respect 250ml - Sulfate-Free Color Protection Shampoo for Fine to Medium Hair
Delicate color-treated hair losing color intensity after just 2-3 washes? Bain Chroma Respect from Kérastase's Chroma Absolu line is a sulfate-free shampoo designed for fine to medium hair, cleansing gently while actively protecting color and hair structure.
Why does color-treated hair need a dedicated shampoo?
The coloring process opens the hair cuticle so pigment molecules can penetrate. After coloring, the cuticle doesn't fully close - pigment "leaks out" with every wash, especially with regular shampoo containing sulfates. Sulfate shampoos accelerate color fading. A dedicated shampoo for color-treated hair cleanses gently and keeps the cuticle closed.
What is BAIN CHROMA RESPECT
Shampoo that delivers moisture and protection to delicate or damaged color-treated hair, fine to medium. Cleanses the hair gently and provides protection against color fading. Caring sulfate-free formula that delivers deep moisture to the hair fiber, strengthens and preserves color intensity over time.
Active ingredients
- Patented amino acid: reinforces internal keratin bonds
- Tao technology: targets the nourishing action where the hair is most vulnerable
- Hyaluronic acid: deep moisture and cuticle sealing
- Sulfate-free: gentle cleansing for color preservation
Results
- Color stays glowing and intense over time
- Hair feels soft, flexible and full of moisture
- Color fading significantly delayed between colorings
- Suitable for daily use on fine/medium hair
How to use
Apply to wet hair, massage gently to a rich lather. The shampoo lathers less than a sulfate shampoo - that's normal and indicates a gentle formula. Rinse and repeat if a deeper cleanse is needed. For optimal result, follow with Fondant Cica Chroma or Masque Chroma Filler from mid-lengths to ends.
Phil's tip, Kérastase Ambassador
My clients switching to a sulfate-free shampoo are surprised at first by the lower lather - but after two or three weeks, they see the difference in color intensity and hair texture. The color stays 30-40% longer compared to a regular shampoo. It's not cosmetics, it's chemistry.
FAQ
Why does the shampoo lather less?
Because it's sulfate-free. Sulfates create excessive lather but also open the cuticle and wash out the color. Cleansing without sulfates is just as effective, simply gentler.
Which Bain to choose - Chroma Respect or Bain Riche?
Bain Chroma Respect suits fine to medium hair. Bain Riche suits medium to thick and drier hair.
Can I use a regular shampoo in between?
You can, but it cancels part of the protection. If using a regular shampoo, recommend reducing to once a week and following with a mask.
